Today marks the 100th birth anniversary of the renowned Telugu actor, Akkineni Nageswara Rao. To commemorate this centenary birth anniversary, an iconic statue of the legendary actor was unveiled at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. The honour of inaugurating this statue was bestowed upon the former Vice President of India, M. Venkaiah Naidu.
The ceremony to unveil the statue was graced by the presence of notable Akkineni family members, including Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya, and Akkineni Akhil. Additionally, the event was attended by several prominent figures from the Telugu film industry, such as SS Rajamouli, Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan, Nani, Vishnu Manchu, Brahmandam, Rajendra Prasad, among others.
