Nithiin was recently seen in the survival action drama Thammudu. Directed by Venu Sriram, the film failed to impress audiences and turned out to be a huge flop at the box office. Dil Raju produced the movie on a massive budget. Currently, Thammudu is streaming on Netflix in South Indian languages.
However, the Hindi version is yet to make its digital debut. The latest update is that the Hindi dubbed version will be available for streaming from September 12 on Jio Hotstar, as listed on the platform’s catalogue. It remains to be seen whether the film can strike a chord with the Hindi-speaking audience.
Thammudu also marked the comeback of Laya to Telugu cinema after a long gap. Sapthami Gowda played the female lead, while Varsha Bollamma, Saurabh Sachdeva, Swasika, and Temper Vamshi essayed supporting roles. B. Ajaneesh Loknath composed the tunes.
