After Shahrukh Khan, another Bollywood star with a big heart donates one crore for Chennai. Akshay Kumar, a popular star in Bollywood, has donated one crore for Chennai Flood Relief activities.
Eager to help, the star has given a huge donation of 1 crore to Bhoomika Trust. Bhoomika Trust is an organization which is involved in collecting and distributing food to the victims. Although the rains have stopped, the city is still flooded and Chennaites are struggling to get back onto their feet. Jayendra, Managing Trustee of Bhoomika Trust received the cheque today.
