Last week, 10-year-old Ishit Bhatt appeared on Amitabh Bachchan’s show Kaun Banega Crorepati 17 under the Special Junior Week category. The young contestant’s overconfident approach drew widespread attention, as he interrupted Amitabh Bachchan while explaining the game rules, saying he already knew them and asked not to waste time.

Many viewers found the child’s behaviour disrespectful and rude, with some even questioning the parents’ upbringing. Despite Ishit Bhatt’s arrogant behaviour, Amitabh Bachchan handled the situation with grace and patience.

Following social media backlash, Ishit Bhatt took to Instagram and issued a public apology. In a message, he expressed regret for his conduct and requested for a picture with Amitabh Bachchan.

“Hello everyone, I want to sincerely apologise for my behaviour on Kaun Banega Crorepati. I know many people felt hurt or disappointed by the way I spoke, and I truly regret it. At that moment, I got nervous, and my attitude came out completely wrong. It wasn’t my intention to be rude. I deeply respect Amitabh Bachchan sir and the entire KBC team,” the fifth-standard student from Gandhinagar shared.
