Allu Arjun’s grandmother Allu Kanakaratnamma passes away

Legendary yesteryear Telugu actor Padma Shri Allu Ramalingaiah’s wife and leading Tollywood star Allu Arjun’s grandmother, Allu Kanakaratnam, passed away at 1:45 AM on Saturday. Smt. Allu Kanakaratnam was 94, and she breathed her last due to age-related ailments.

Upon hearing about the tragedy in the Allu family, several Tollywood stars extended their heartfelt condolences to Allu Kanakaratnam’s son, Allu Aravind, and his family members. Her son-in-law, Chiranjeev, is personally supervising the formalities at Allu Aravind’s residence, where Allu Kanakaratnam’s body will be kept from 9 AM.

Allu Kanakaratnam’s last rites will be performed this afternoon at Kokapet. Her grandsons, Allu Arjun and Ram Charan, are rushing back to Hyderabad from Mumbai and Mysore, respectively. Pawan Kalyan and Naga Babu, who are currently in Vizag to attend a public meeting, will land in Hyderabad on Sunday.
