This week, Tollywood is set to have one of its biggest releases, Akhanda 2. Headlined by Balakrishna, the film is directed by Boyapati Sreenu and is the sequel to the 2021 blockbuster Akhanda. The makers already revealed that the movie will have paid premieres in India.
The Andhra Pradesh government has now approved a massive ticket price hike for this Balayya starrer. The premiere shows (between 8 PM and 10 PM) will be priced at Rs. 600/- (inclusive of GST) in all centers. Starting from December 5, for a period of 10 days, the biggie will have a ticket rate enhancement of Rs. 75/- (including GST) in single screens, and Rs. 100/- (including GST) in multiplexes.
According to the new G.O., the ticket fare in single screens will be around Rs. 222.5/-, whereas the multiplexes will charge Rs. 277/- for the first ten days. Samyukta, Aadi Pinishetty, and Harshaali Malhotra of Bajrangi Bhaijaan fame play key roles. Ram Achanta and Gopi Achanta are producing this flick under the banner of 14 Reels Plus.
