’13’ sentiment effect: Bellamkonda Sreenivas’ Kishkindhapuri delayed by a day

Bellamkonda Sreenivas is gearing up to entertain audiences with the horror thriller Kishkindhapuri. The promotional material unveiled so far has been well-received. Koushik Pegallapati of Chaavu Kaburu Challaga fame is the director. Anupama Parameswaran and Sreenivas reunite after their collaboration in Rakshasudu.

The film was initially slated for a September 12 release, but the latest update confirms that Kishkindhapuri will now arrive a day later, on September 13. The short delay is attributed to sentiment, as 13 is often associated with mystery, danger, and fear in horror culture. This is also considered a wise move, as it helps the film avoid a direct date-to-date clash with Teja Sajja’s hyped project Mirai.

Sahu Garapati is bankrolling the project under the Shine Screens banner. Chaitan Bharadwaj and Sam CS are composing the music, while Chinmay Salaskar handles the cinematography. Full-fledged promotions will kickstart soon.
