Producer Dil Raju has clarified that the heroine for Yellamma is still not finalized. The film, directed by Venu Yeldandi of Balagam fame, has faced multiple delays over the past few months.
Initially, actor Nithiin had given his nod to the project, but he later opted out due to reasons undisclosed, causing further slowdown in the film’s progress.
Dil Raju revealed that while the hero has now been locked and pre-production is back on track, the team is still searching for the right actress to headline the project.
He added that once the female lead is confirmed, filming will move ahead as planned in early 2026. Stay tuned for more updates on this film.
