Bollywood star Emraan Hashmi is all set to make his Tollywood debut with Pawan Kalyan’s highly anticipated pan-India gangster drama, They Call Him OG. The film is slated to open in cinemas worldwide amid sky-high expectations on September 25, 2025.
Talking about his Tollywood debut experience in a recent interview, Emraan, who plays the antagonist Omi Bhau in OG, said, “I was thrilled when I was approached for this film, as it marks my entry into Telugu cinema. And what better way to do it than sharing screen space with the legendary Pawan Kalyan?” said Emraan.
“Working with director Sujeeth and Pawan Kalyan has been an incredible experience. From my look and dialogue delivery to the entire characterization, I loved every aspect of it and felt truly excited to be a part of this film,” he concluded.
OG makers recently released Emraan’s Omi Bhau’s character glimpse a few days ago. The showcased Emraan in a rugged and intense avatar. Also starring young Tamil actress Priyanka Mohan in a lead role, OG is produced by DVV Danayya and Kalyan Dasari, while Thaman is the film’s music composer.
