Released in 2007, Rajamouli’s super hit socio-fantasy entertainer, Yamadonga, reintroduced NTR in a brand new avatar. The Young Tiger slimmed down heavily and fans were in for a pleasant surprise to see an all new NTR. The film’s main plot was inspired from the legendary NT Ramarao’s blockbuster yesteryear socio-fantasy, Yamagola.
Now, after 12 long years, Yamadonga is being released in Tamil. The dubbed version has been titled Vijayan and it’s releasing across Tamil Nadu on January 3rd. Rajamouli and NTR have a decent fan base in Tamil Nadu. But we will have to see if the film can make any impact even after 12 years of its release.
