Su From So, the newest Kannada sensation, is close to crossing Rs. 120 crore in gross collections. This remarkable feat, achieved on a minimal budget, cements its blockbuster status.
J. P. Thuminad played the lead and also made his directorial debut with this movie. Raj B. Shetty played a key role and produced the film as well. It has now been confirmed that Jio Hotstar has secured the digital rights and Colors Kannada the satellite rights (with the Telugu version on Star Maa) for Rs. 5.5 crore + GST across all languages, which is a solid sum.
Earlier, rumours went wild that Amazon Prime Video had purchased the rights, but it is now official that Jio Hotstar inked the final deal. The streaming date will be announced very soon as the movie completed its 25-day theatrical run.
Shaneel Gautham and Sandhya Arakere are the other key cast members in this movie. Lighter Buddha Films produced this comedy-drama, which has songs by Sumedh K and a score by Sandeep Thulasidas.
