Today is a memorable day for popular Tollywood actor-producer Vishnu Manchu. Kannappa, Vishnu’s most ambitious project to date, has finally hit the big screens across the world. The mythological magnum opus has been in the making for several years. The initial response from the film’s first day first shows is quite encouraging.
Just as Kannappa made it to theaters, Vishnu took to X and penned a heartfelt message. “This moment… I’ve waited for it my entire life. Hearing the overwhelming love pouring in from overseas premieres and early morning shows in India fills my heart with gratitude,” he posted. Vishnu went on to say that Kannappa is no longer just his film. “It’s yours now,” he concluded. Vishnu also shared a poster of him offering his eyes to Lord Shiva, one of the most iconic moments in this epic drama.
Kannappa also features Tollywood star Prabhas, Mollywood stalwart Mohanlal, Bollywood star Akshay Kumar, star heroine Kajal Aggarwal, Mohan Babu, and several prominent actors from across the country in pivotal roles.
