Sai Tej and Samyuktha Menon’s supernatural thriller, Virupaksha, has passed the litmus test at the box office on Monday with flying colors. On the 4th of its release, Virupaksha collected a decent Rs 2.99 crore share in the Andhra, Nizam and Ceded regions. In Nizam alone, the film collected a cool Rs 1.31 crore share.
Virupaksha’s total 4-day AP, Telangana share amounts to Rs 19.35 crore. The film has broken even in several key centres already, and is now heading to become Sai Tej’s all-time career’s biggest grosser within the first week of its release. On the other hand, in North America, the film is inching closer to the $1 million milestone, a first-ever feat in Sai Tej’s career.
