The much-anticipated Tamil movie, Mahaan, featuring Vikram and his son Dhruv, is locked to release directly on the OTT platform, Amazon Prime Video. Ahead of that, the makers have released the trailer of the movie.
Unlike the teaser, the trailer looks extraordinary. Chiyaan Vikram plays Gandhi Mahaan, a peacefully-living Commerce teacher and he turns a gangster in the liquor business, against the will of his late father.
Mahaan’s son (Dhruv) also enters the business and they both rule the syndicate. What made Mahaan follow this new path and other details will be known when the main film is out on Prime Video.
The power-packed trailer promises an engaging gangster drama and it seems that both actors have performed with ease. Set in 1996, the movie has Simran as the wife of Vikram. The visuals look stellar and Santhosh Narayanan’s background score elevates the trailer.
Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, Mahaan will be premiered on Amazon Prime Video on February 10, 2022 in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
