Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi and ever-charming Bollywood beauty Katrina Kaif are working on a film titled Merry Christmas. Initially, the makers planned to release the movie for Christmas 2022. However, there were also gossips that the film might take the direct OTT route.
Amidst this confusion, the makers gave an official statement that the film would be postponed to 2023 and would not be released for this year’s Christmas. The new release date will be announced soon. The talk is that this decision was taken to avert the clash with the Ganapath movie.
Sriram Raghavan of Andhadhun fame is directing this film. Merry Christmas is produced together by Ramesh Taurani and Sanjay Routray and is said to be a festive thriller. It indeed is a big project for Vijay Sethupathi in the B-Town.
