Victory Venkatesh’s upcoming boxing based action drama, Guru, has wrapped up its shooting in Chennai yesterday. The film’s shoot began in the third week of September and this is indeed a record where a star hero’s film is wrapped up within such a short time.
Guru is an official remake of the Tamil-Hindi bilingual, Saala Khadoos. The film stars Ritika Singh, Mumtaz Sorcar and Nasser in prominent roles. Guru’s teaser will be unveiled on December 13th as Venky’s birthday treat. After having its audio launch in January first week, the film will hit the screens on 26th January.
Sudha Kongara, who directed the original, has directed the Telugu version as well and Y Not Studios has produced it.
