So much is being said about Dil Raju’s Varisu starring Vijay. The film is fast completing its shoot and will be out on the eve of Pongal this coming Jan in 2023.
Varisu is a Tamil film and Dil Raju has planned a big release for the Telugu version as well. He has been put in a spot as other producers are not liking the way Dil Raju has started blocking theaters in Nizam and AP.
Some of the producers here felt that a Tamil dubbed film should not get a lucrative window like Sankranthi where big Telugu films get released. Upon this, the statement from director Lingusamy about the Telugu film industry and how it is not allowing dub films to grow has given more fuel to this matter.
Now, all eyes are on Dil Raju as to which release date he will choose for Varisu. Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya and Balayya’s Veera Simha Reddy are up for release during the same season. Let’s see what happens.
