Rajamouli’s RRR created history as the film’s Naatu Naatu song got nominated for Best Original Song at the 95th Oscar Awards. Indian movie lovers are highly elated with this and are showering praise on Rajamouli and the team.
There are two more additions to this list, as All That Breathes and The Elephant Whisperers got nominated for Documentary Feature Film and Documentary Short Film, respectively, at the prestigious Academy Awards. All That Breathes is directed by Shaunak Sen, and The Elephant Whisperers is directed by Kartiki Gonsalves.
Interestingly Chello Show which is India’s official submission to the Oscars, didn’t nominate in the International Feature Film Category. So let’s see if RRR’s Naatu Naatu, All That Breathes, and The Elephant Whisperers could bring Oscars home. The results will be declared on 13th March 2022.
