Kollywood comedy family drama, Tourist Family, created quite a sensation. Despite facing stiff competition from Suriya’s Retro, this small-budget family drama not only held its ground but eventually outperformed the biggie over time, becoming a sleeper success. The film also marked the directorial debut of Abishan Jeevinth.
Now, in an exciting development, Abishan Jeevinth is all set to make his debut as a lead actor. While he made a brief appearance in Tourist Family, this upcoming project will see him taking center stage for the first time. Interestingly, the movie will be helmed by the co-director of Tourist Family.
The makers have roped in Malayalam sensation Anaswara Rajan as the female lead, adding more charm and youth appeal to the project. Reportedly titled Corrected Machi, the film is said to target both youth and family audiences. Official announcement with cast details is expected to come out soon.
