It’s well known that Thalapathy Vijay’s blockbuster cop action drama, Theri, is being remade in Telugu as Ustaad Bhagat Singh, with Pawan Kalyan playing the main lead. On the other hand, Theri will also be remade in Hindi, with young hero Varun Dhawan stepping into Vijay’s shoes for the Hindi version.
Even as Pawan Kalyan’s UBS is gearing up for the film’s second schedule, Theri’s Hindi remake has gone a notch higher and sealed its release date even before it went on the floors. The makers of Theri’s Hindi version today announced that the film will be hitting theaters on May 31, 2024.
Theri’s Hindi remake is being directed by Tamil filmmaker Kalees and produced by Atlee, the Theri director who also helmed the biggies such as Bigil, Mersal and Shah Rukh Khan’s highly-anticipated action thriller, Jawan. Arjun Reddy producer Murad Khetani has co-produced Theri’s Hindi remake in association with Atlee.
