Everybody is aware of the news that the Tamil-language documentary short The Elephant Whisperers won an Oscar in the Best Documentary Short Film category. Directed by debutante Kartiki Gonsalves, the movie is already available to stream on Netflix.
The latest news is that the Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin felicitated the female director Kartiki Gonsalves with a shawl and memento today in Chennai. In addition, the CM also announced a cash prize of Rs.1 crore to her.
