The critically acclaimed romantic drama, Thandel, has emerged as the biggest hit in actor Naga Chaitanya’s career. Also starring the fabulous Sai Pallavi in a lead role, this poignant seaside love story continues its steady run at the single screens and multiplexes across the twin Telugu states.
As per the latest updates, Thandel collected a whopping Rs 95.20 crore gross in its eight-day theatrical journey. The film is expected to enter the coveted Rs 100 crore club by this weekend. The Valentine’s week advantage, the aggressive promotions, and the new releases, Laila and Brahma Anandam, failing to make an impact at the box office proved to be advantageous for Thandel.
Thandel is directed by Chandoo Mondeti and produced by Bunny Vas under Allu Aravind’s presentation. The chartbuster soundtrack composed by Devi Sri Prasad has worked its magic and ended up playing a major role in the film’s success.
