Ace producer Dil Raju, who is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Thammudu, has revealed an interesting casting detail in an interview.
He shared that Nani was originally the first choice to play the lead role in Thammudu. However, due to scheduling conflicts, Nani had to opt out of the project.
Dil Raju then approached Nithiin, who readily agreed to do the film. The producer praised Nithiin’s dedication and expressed confidence in the film’s success.
Thammudu is set for release on July 4, 2025, and is being positioned as an emotional entertainer with strong content. Sreeram Venu is the director.
