Here comes a big update for all the fans of Kollywood star Thala Ajith. The actor’s highly-anticipated action thriller, Valimai, has been confirmed for a Pongal, 2022 release. The film’s producer Boney Kapoor has just made an announcement in this regard. The exact date of release will be announced later this year.
Valimai also features Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi and Tollywood hero Kartikeya in key roles. Directed by H Vinoth, the film was initially scheduled for a Diwali release, leading to a box-office clash with Tamil Super Star Rajinikanth’s Annaatthe. However, considering the market situation, Valimai makers have decided to opt out of the Diwali clash. Yuvan Shankar Raja is the film’s music composer.
