Payal Rajput was recently seen in the investigative thriller Rakshana. The stunning beauty played a cop role in this flick. Pradeep Thakore served as both the director and producer. Despite Payal Rajput playing the lead role, not many are aware of Rakshana. The project was stuck in development hell for many years.
Before the film’s release, a dispute arose between the actress and director, and hence the movie wasn’t promoted well. This resulted in a low buzz, and on the expected lines, Rakshana failed to leave any mark at the box office. Rakshana is now available for streaming on Aha in Telugu audio with English subtitles attached to it.
The gap between theatrical and OTT release is nearly 7 weeks, which is a rarity for a low-budget film. Shivannarayana, Maanas, Rajeev Kanakala, Vinod Bala, and Anand Chakrapani played pivotal roles. Mahati Swara Sagar composed the tunes.
