Teja Sajja is promoting Mirai aggressively. The fantasy entertainer, directed by popular cinematographer Karthik Gattamneni, is set for a PAN-India release on September 12. In a recent interview, Teja made a surprising revelation — he was the first choice for the blockbuster Jathi Ratnalu.
“Anudeep doesn’t narrate the story properly (laughs). He always tells the jokes but never the full story. That’s his style. Jathi Ratnalu was narrated in the same way. Honestly, I feel the film was truly meant for Naveen Polishetty. His conviction made Jathi Ratnalu what it is. I don’t feel I missed out on that film,” said Teja.
The HanuMan actor further added, “I enjoyed watching the film in theatres. Anudeep’s execution and the artists’ performances were superb. I love Anudeep. He is my close friend.” Meanwhile, netizens are commenting that Teja Sajja might have missed a big opportunity.
