Tamil actor Manikandan completed his hattrick hits with the recently released Kudumbasthan. The family comedy-drama was a dark horse at the box office, collecting over Rs. 25 crores gross from Tamil Nadu. This is a remarkable feat for an upcoming actor. In fact, Kudumbasthan is the biggest grosser in Manikandan’s career.
Kudumbasthan is now available for streaming in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada languages on ZEE5. The theatrical window is six weeks, which is slightly higher than the majority of Tamil films. Directed by Rajeshwar Kalisamy, the movie stars Saanve Megghana as the female lead.
Kudumbasthan tells the tale of a youngster who is the sole breadwinner in a middle-class family. Critics praised the film for its humor and relatable characters. Guru Somasundaram, R. Sundarrajan, Kudassanad Kanakam, Balaji Sakthivel, and Varghese Mathew played key roles. Vaisakh composed the tunes.
