Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar is celebrating his birthday today. Amid all the heartfelt messages and special birthday posters from his upcoming movies, the announcement of Survivor, a film on the Sandalwood star’s inspiring battle with cancer, stole the limelight.
Survivor will showcase Shiva Rajkumar valiantly fighting cancer after being diagnosed with cancer. In March this year, he had announced that his year-long battle with the deadly disease would be released for public awareness. The documentary film will explore Shiva Rajkumar’s journey from being diagnosed with cancer in August last year to the treatment in Bengaluru and the USA and finally making a full recovery.
Survivor is being produced by Shiva Rajkumar’s wife, Geetha Rajkumar, under the Geetha Pictures banner and directed by Pradeep Sastry. PK Ashwin is composing the music. More details about the documentary will be revealed in August 2025.
