Kannada horror comedy Su From So created quite a sensation at the box office. None in their wildest dreams expected that a film featuring newcomers will achieve over Rs. 100 crores gross. Jio Hotstar grabbed the post-theatrical streaming rights. Earlier reports suggested that the film would be available for streaming from September 5.
But to the disappointment of many the movie didn’t arrive yesterday on OTT platform. Here’s the news you have all been waiting for. Su From So will make its digital debut on September 9 and it has been officially listed in the digital platform’s catalogue.
The movie will be available in three languages (not specified) from the said date. Most likely, the Telugu version will be available for streaming alongside the original. Su From So’s Telugu version had a theatrical release, but the dubbed version didn’t leave an impact.
Produced by Raj B. Shetty under his Light Buddha Films banner, the movie is directed by J.P. Thuminad. Shaneel Gautham, J.P. Thuminad, Sandhya Arakere, Prakash Thuminad, Deepak Rai Panaje, and Mime Ramdas played the lead roles. Sumedh K and Sandeep Thulasidas composed the music.
