Kantara is performing consistently at the worldwide box office. Rishab Shetty is receiving appreciation from one and all for his brilliant portrayal of folklore. In a recent interview, the actor cum director revealed some exciting details.
Accordingly, the late Puneeth Rajkumar was supposed to do Kantara, but the busy schedules of the star actor back then kept him away from the project. Rishab narrated the plot to Puneeth, who was also impressed by it. Though Puneeth didn’t do Kantara, Rishab ensured that the star actor was well-informed about the film’s progress.
Puneeth also advised Rishab not to compromise on the vision of the film. Had Puneeth been part of Kantara, it would have been another feather to his cap. Vijay Kirangadur produced Kantara under the prestigious Hombale Films banner, and Sapthami Gowda played the leading lady.
