Agent, Akhil Akkineni’s much-talked-about fifth film, had its formal launched on his birthday last week. Being directed by stylish action entertainers specialist Surender Reddy, Agent is touted as a spy thriller, with Akhil playing a spy. The young hero’s rugged avatar in the first look poster received a terrific response from all quarters.
Meanwhile, the latest buzz reveals that Agent’s makers have approached Mollywood stalwart Mohanlal for a key role in the movie. We will have to wait until an official announcement regarding this news is made by the team. Young Mumbai model Vaidya Sakshi plays Akhil’s love interest in the movie. Anil Sunkara is bankrolling this exciting project in association with Surender Reddy’s Surrender 2 Cinema banner.
