A big announcement has been made by the renowned Bollywood banner Maddock Films today. The production house has officially announced a massive deal with the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video India. The latter will get the rights to premiere Maddock Films’ upcoming 8 movies on the digital platform, which includes Rashmika Mandanna’s Thama and Janhvi Kapoor’s Param Sundari, among others.
This will bring all Maddock Films releases together on a single platform for better entertainment without dependence on any other OTT. The slate also features franchise expansions Shiddat 2 and Badlapur 2, Sriram Raghavan’s Ikkis starring Agastya Nanda, along with two additional horror films and other titles. This is a massive deal by the makers of the Stree franchise.
The collaboration extends the longstanding partnership between Prime Video and Maddock Films, which has previously brought titles including Stree 2, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, and Stree to the platform, along with the co-production Bhool Chuk Maaf and the original series Jee Karda.
