Following the humongous pan-Indian success of the Baahubali and Pushpa franchises, there has been an ever-increasing curiosity and excitement surrounding Telugu movies and Tollywood stars among the North Indian audience. Capitalising this momentum, more and more Tollywood stars are heading towards Bollywood slowly but steadily.
After RRR heroes Ram Charan and NTR, it’s now the turn of Ravi Teja to make his Bollywood debut, if the ongoing speculations are anything to go by. The latest buzz has it that Ravi Teja has been approached by hotshot Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar for a multi-starrer that also features young Bollywood hero Varun Dhawan. Furthermore, a Tollywood director will be helming this project.
Interestingly, the project will be jointly produced by Rana Daggubati, Karan Johar and leading Nizam distributor Suniel Narang of Asian Cinemas. However, one has to wait until these speculations turn out to be true. Meanwhile, amid high expectations, the Mass Maharaja’s latest film, Ravanasura, opened in cinemas today and received a lukewarm response.
