Sonu Sood joins Leonard DiCaprio, Angelina Jolie with United Nations honor

In a massive achievement for his humanitarian work since the nationwide lockdown, Bollywood star Sonu Sood has been honoured with the prestigious SDG Special Humanitarian Action Award by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

Sonu has been offering transport facility to the poor migrant workers,food and groceries to the poor families, employment to the jobless youth who lost their jobs in the pandemic and even bearing the educational expenses of young students from across the country.

With this rare honor, Sonu joined the league of global stars like Leonardo DiCaprio, Angelina Jolie, Priyanka Chopra and David Beckham who received the award previously.
