Shriya Saran has hardly taken up projects in either Telugu or Hindi after she got married to her longtime boyfriend, Andrei couple of years ago. Soon after their wedding, the couple moved to Barcelona, where Shriya continues to live, although she comes to India every now and then for work and to spend time with her friends and family members.
The latest news is that she flew down to Mumbai recently to shake a leg in an upcoming Hindi film, Sab Khushal Mangal. The song, Naya Naya Love, will have Shriya dancing alongside Akshaye Khanna and Priyaank Sharma. The actress reportedly agreed to be part of the song because of her friendship with the film’s producer, Prachi Manmohan. The last major Hindi film that Shriya was part of was Drishyam, which released in 2015, and then, she played a lead role in a low budget film, Phamous.
Talking about her return to Bollywood, the actress said that she won’t lose touch with either Hindi or South Indian cinema, and that she will continue to come to India for work. It remains to be seen if she is going to sign a Telugu film anytime soon.
