Hollywood biggie Oppenheimer directed by one of the greatest directors, Christopher Nolan, is also set to create havoc at the worldwide box office from July 21. Oppenheimer is a biographical film on Robert Oppenheimer, the father of the atomic bomb.
Cillian Murphy of Peaky Blinders fame played the titular role. During the promotions, the actor revealed that the entire shoot was wrapped in just 57 days. The actor said, “We made the film unbelievably quickly. We made it in 57 days. That pace was insane.” The movie will have intense competition from Barbie, which is also scheduled for July 21 release.
Oppenheimer is based on the book American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer, written by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin. Along with the digital formats, Oppenheimer will also release in IMAX 70MM (IMAX Reel), 35MM, and 70MM film formats. The movie is jointly produced by Christopher Nolan, Emma Thomas, and Charles Roven.
