Shankar has officially completed the shooting of his upcoming Tamil film Nanban, the remake of Aamir Khan’s 3 Idiots. Vijay, Jiiva, Sriram and Ileana play lead roles in this film. Recently, a duet on Ileana and Vijay was shot in Chennai and it was choreographed by Farah Khan. Remember, this was the song where Ileana had hurt her leg after she slipped few weeks ago. As the film’s shooting has been completed, Shankar has announced that the film will hit the screens for Sankranthi.
Harris Jayaraj has composed the music. Those who have seen parts of the film claim that Shankar has added his own touch on the original script and it has come out really well. Gemini Film Circuit has produced the film and it’ll be simultaneously released in Telugu and Tamil in January, 2012.
