Guntur Kaaram, starring Mahesh Babu, is doing decent business at the ticket windows. The film, directed by Trivikram Srinivas opened to mixed reviews from critics. Today, producer Naga Vamsi conducted a press meet on behalf of Haarika and Hassine Creations, the banner that bankrolled this biggie.

Naga Vamsi said that screening 1 AM shows for a family entertainer was a mistake. Naga Vamsi said, “Salaar is a mass Film, and when fans watched 1 AM shows, they got that high. But Guntur Kaaram is a Trivikram mark family entertainer. The mistake I made was screening 1 AM shows, which was reflected in the result.”

Naga Vamsi said, “We felt the film wasn’t projected properly. Maybe we could’ve avoided the 1 AM show, but the movie gained steam eventually. There was no compromise on quality despite the time pressure. It is truly the content that has reached out to viewers.”
