After releasing to a unanimous positive response on January 14 as a Sankranthi festive treat, Venkatesh’s Sankranthiki Vasthunnam is continuing its dream run at the global box office. The film is doing phenomenally well at the ticket counters across Nizam.
As per the latest trade updates, Sankranthiki Vasthunnam collected a solid Rs 2.9 cr share at the Nizam box office on Friday. The film’s four-day cumulative share in the Nizam region amounts to Rs 14.9 crore (Excl GST). With the Saturday and Sunday ticket sales witnessing a massive craze, the film is expected to end its opening weekend with a distributor share of over Rs 22 crore.
The fact that Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, being a family entertainer, is performing so well, especially with Game Changer and Daaku Maharaaj in competition, is leaving the trade amazed. This Anil Ravipudi directorial also features Aishwarya Rajesh and Meenakshi Chaudhary in lead roles. Dil Raju and Shirish jointly bankrolled the movie.
