Venkatesh and Anil Ravipudi’s hat-trick film, Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, has turned out to be a humongous blockbuster at the global box office. Starring Aishwarya Rajesh and Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female leads, the film has grossed close to Rs 200 crore and is all set to surpass the coveted milestone by Monday.
Sankranthiki Vasthunnam was released in cinemas worldwide on January 14 amid intense box office competition from Ram Charan’s Game Changer and Balakrishna’s Daaku Maharaaj. However, thanks to the unanimous positive response from fans and movie lovers, Sankranthiki Vasthunnam has dominated the box office winner this Sankranthi season by selling more tickets than Game Changer and Daaku Maharaaj on BookMyShow app.
Sankranthiki Vasthunnam is produced by Dil Raju and Shirish. Bheems Ceciroleo has composed the music. With Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, Venky is set to become the only senior hero after Chiranjeevi to score a Rs 200 crore movie.
