With Kantara, Kannada actor and director Rishab Shetty created a sensation of sorts. The film’s prequel, Kantara: Chapter 1, is scheduled for release on October 2 in multiple languages simultaneously. Bookings commenced a while ago in Karnataka. During Kantara 1’s promotions, Rishab Shetty made interesting comments about his film with Prasanth Varma, Jai Hanuman.
He said, “I didn’t want to sign any film before the release of Kantara: Chapter 1. But Prasanth Varma’s narration impressed me so much that I gave my nod immediately. The script was fabulous, and the story is very interesting. We have wrapped up the photoshoot, and pre-production work is underway.”
The makers will soon reveal when the biggie will go on floors. Jai Hanuman is the sequel to the 2024 blockbuster Hanuman. Tollywood’s top production house Mythri Movie Makers is bankrolling this flick.
