Around a month ago, Ram Gopal Varma stunned everyone by announcing a movie starring Akhil as the main lead. RGV said that the project will go on floors soon after Officer’s release. However, neither Akhil nor Nagarjuna have made an official announcement regarding the RGV-Akhil project so far.
This made everyone believe that it was yet another random announcement made by RGV. However, in the latest interview as part of Officer’s promotions, RGV reiterated that his project with Akhil is pretty much on and that he is currently working on the film’s script. RGV went on to say that the shoot will kick-start in a couple of months.
