Anushka Shetty was recently seen in the action drama, Ghaati, directed by Krish Jagarlamudi. The movie opened to mixed reviews and couldn’t meet expectations commercially. The film narrates the story of weed traders living in a mountainous region.
According to various media reports, Ghaati is expected to make its OTT debut on September 26 in multiple languages. Prime Video holds the post-theatrical streaming rights, and the digital rights were acquired for a solid price. An official confirmation is yet to be made by the streamer.
Ghaati also stars Vikram Prabhu, Chaitanya Rao, Jagapathi Babu, and others in prominent roles. Produced jointly by UV Creations and First Frame Entertainments, the movie features music composed by Nagavelli Vidya Sagar.
