Nag Ashwin was praised by one and all for the way he presented Bollywood Shahenshah Amitabh Bachchan in the PAN Indian blockbuster Kalki 2898 AD. The film, spearheaded by Prabhas, went on to gross over Rs. 1100 crores. Amitabh Bachchan’s portrayal of Ashwatthama earned widespread acclaim. All scenes featuring Prabhas and Amitabh struck a chord with the audience.
According to a report in Mid-Day, Amitabh’s role is going to get bigger and better in the second part. The report stated, “The sequel to Kalki 2898 AD, Nag Ashwin’s dystopian science fiction will offer more screen time to Bachchan. He will begin shooting in May, and his screen time has been increased. Filming is expected to continue till June 15, after which he will kick off the next season of KBC.”
Kalki 2898 AD ended with a cliffhanger and fans are eagerly waiting to see what happens next. The movie also stars Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani in crucial roles. Tollywood’s esteemed production house, Vyjayanthi Movies, is backing this biggie.
