Renowned veteran director K.S.R. Das, who made iconic films like ‘Mosagallaki Mosagadu’ and ‘Yugandhar’, is no more. He passed away today evening while undergoing treatment at Apollo Hospitals in Chennai. Born on January 5th 1936 in Venkatagiri, K.S.R. Das has over 100 films to his credit as a director. He has worked with almost all the major heroes of his day in South Indian cinema.
Some of his iconic hits include ‘Mosagallaki Mosagadu’ with Krishna, ‘Yugandhar’ with NTR, ‘Billa Ranga’ with Chiranjeevi and ‘Annadammula Savaal’ with Rajinikanth. The director’s son is also into the film industry and he is a Kannada film producer.
