Hero Ravi Teja’s much-talked-about action thriller, Eagle, released in cinemas on February 9 and received a mixed response from fans and critics. Directed by popular cinematographer-filmmaker Karthik Gattamaneni, the film was bankrolled by one of Tollywood’s leading producers TG Vishwaprasad on People Media Factory banner. Ravi Teja’s never before seen salt and pepper look in the intense role of an assassin and the stylishly shot action sequences were the major highlights of the movie.
Eagle made its OTT debut yesterday (March 1), and it has been ruling the OTT world ever since. The film’s co-producer Vivek Kuchibotla took to X this afternoon and revealed that Eagle is currently trending at number 1 spot in Amazon Prime Video India trends. Needless to say, this is just the beginning and the film is sure to set new benchmarks in the OTT space.
Eagle also featured young beauties Anupama Parameswaran, Kavya Thapar, Navdeep, Vinay Ra, and others in important roles. Apart from directing the project, Karthik also doubled up as the cinematographer for the movie.
