Ranveer Singh’s Cirkus is having a terrible run at the box office and is showing no signs of improvement. Directed by Rohit Shetty, the film was criticized right from its trailer’s release. Audiences are opining that this is not what they expected from Rohit and Ranveer’s combo.
For the two days, the film collected a mere 12 crores, which is very low for a star hero film. Moreover, the prospects look unfavorable as the movie started the day with low occupancies despite the Christmas holiday.
Even 2021 Christmas was not so great for Bollywood as Ranveer’s 83 failed to collect good numbers. On the other hand, Avatar 2 is making excellent use of the festival season, and the occupancies have grown enormously across the country. The film is expected to continue its good run for a few more days.
