Vishnu Manchu’s dream project Kannappa is all set for a grand theatrical release on June 27, 2025, in multiple languages. Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, the film is one of the most anticipated mythological spectacles of the year.

Recently, Vishnu Manchu and his father, veteran actor Mohan Babu, met Superstar Rajinikanth. Sharing the special moment on social media, Vishnu revealed, “Last night, Rajinikanth uncle watched Kannappa. After the film, he gave me a tight hug and told me he loved it.”

“I’ve waited 22 years as an actor for that hug! Today, I feel encouraged, humbled, and grateful. Kannappa is coming on June 27, and I can’t wait for the world to experience the magic of Lord Shiva,” he added.

Photos from their meeting have gone viral across social media. The film features a stellar cast including Akshay Kumar, Kajal Aggarwal, Mohanlal, Preity Mukundan, Sarathkumar, Arpit Ranka, and others. Jointly produced by 24 Frames Factory and Ava Entertainment, Kannappa stands as one of the most ambitious pan-Indian mythological films in recent times.
