Pushpa 2: Mallu fans not happy with Fahadh Faasil’s role

Pushpa 2 is breaking records at the box office, but the response in Kerala has been less enthusiastic. Many fans there are reportedly upset with the film and its director, Sukumar.

The primary complaint is that Fahadh Faasil was not given proper prominence in the film by Sukumar. A significant number of fans feel that Fahadh, affectionately known as “Fafa,” was portrayed more as a clown than as a formidable villain.

While Fahadh’s character was showcased brilliantly in the first half, the second half reduced him to a silly role. Furthermore, his limited screen time toward the end of the film has left many of his Malayalam fans disappointed.

This dissatisfaction might be one of the reasons Pushpa 2 is not performing as well in Kerala compared to other regions. It remains to be seen whether Sukumar will address these concerns in the coming days.
