Young Kollywood actor Pradeep Ranganathan recently appeared in the blockbuster Dragon, which was simultaneously released in Telugu as Return of the Dragon.
Directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, the film has accomplished what Ajith’s Vidaamuyarchi could not. Dragon crossed the $1 million mark at the North American box office, a milestone Vidaamuyarchi failed to achieve during its theatrical run.
With this feat, Dragon has become the first Tamil film of the year to reach the $1 million mark in North America.
The film features Anupama Parameswaran, Kayadu Lohar, Mysskin, and Gautham Vasudev Menon in key roles. Leon James composed the music, while AGS Entertainment produced the film.
